Your one-year-old child may now start walking and talking. With her increased mobility she may also start to mess around. As your child cannot yet express in words clearly, she will act out and throw tantrums. The main emphases of your role are to provide a good language environment to your child, communicate with her and show her what she should and should not do. Your child also likes to imitate others at this stage. Therefore it is important for you to be a good role model for your child.
